FLEX-BRITE WATER-BASED FLEXO INKS
Flex-Brite water-based flexo inks were designed specifically for the narrow and wide web label printer. These inks are formulated to be used on all grades of coated and un-coated paper, Tyvek, aluminum foil, and plastic films commonly used for labels. Thus, only one line of ink is required for many different substrates.
The high tech formulation approach which guided the development of the Flex-Brite Series has resulted in a number of excellent features of these inks which provide printers with important benefits:
HIGH STRENGTH Thinner films, sharper printing, faster drying, economical
PRESS STABLE Long runs without press clean-ups, sharper printing
FAST DRYING High press speeds, greater production
LOW VOC'S Fewer pollution problems, lower odor, safer working conditions
HIGH GLOSS Cleaner, brighter colors
CONTROLLED COF Controlled slips and excellent wet and dry rub properties
Flex-Brite Inks are available in a full range of standard colors, including the Process colors, and special reds that use non-Barium based pigments. Special color matches are made on request. To accommodate those times when conditions on a particular run vary from the norm, a line of auxiliary additives are provided to modify the properties of the inks to meet special conditions.
All of the Flex-Brite products are manufactured under tightly controlled conditions. State-of-the-art SPC practices are employed to make certain that every batch of every product is of the highest quality attainable. The strength and color of all ink batches are monitored by computer. The results of all this effort are inks that are on spec and perform well on press the first time and every time.
