Telestacker Drier

The Telestacker Drier, a modular product of Cronite engineering research, is specifically designed for the efficient drying of both water soluble and varnish inks.  Stock is dried with a current of heated dehumidified air that won't alter the impression's color nor cause the paper to cockle or curl.  This is especially important when running multicolored register impressions which have to be dried several times.  The belt speed and air temperature are both easily regulated at the operator's position to obtain maximum quality, efficiency, and economy on any job.

The belt speed is variable from zero to 10,000 impressions per hour so that the operator can make sure the stamped stock lays out in an even and manageable pattern to dry.  In addition to all of this, driers equipped with a return belt to the operator's position neatly stack the dried stock so it may be easily picked up, inspected, and packed without the pressman having to leave the front area of the press.  The use of "Operator Friendly" equipment helps make employees more productive and aids in boosting overall plant efficiency.

The length of the Telestacker Drier is fully adjustable to give the proper amount of drying time needed for any job.  The standard drier is adjustable for lengths from 9½' to 15½', but on a special order basis, the Telestacker has been made to give a minimum length of 7' all the way up to a length of 25' with or without a return belt.  Driers with a roller front section are 1½' longer than a standard drier.  A longer drier needs less heat (or no heat at all) to dry an impression which can save money in the form of lower energy costs.  In short, the Telestacker Drier can better suit the die stamper's specific drying needs and space limitations than any other drier ever made. (Many shops have replaced older drier units for the increased efficiency alone.)
